In 2014, West Construction Company was established based on the demand for a more personal and thoughtful approach to commercial construction. Thanks to the encouragement of several local business leaders, and an opportunity at Gulfstream Aerospace, our company was founded on the values we still hold today. With each project, we have grown in reputation to become one of the most respected builders in our area. We are focused on the process of building relationships with our clients, partners, and our community.
The beginning
We have come a long way since our first project at Gulfstream Aerospace, and we’re proud to say that our first client is still a client today.
Our work on this early project provided us with experience delivering quality projects for a world-class company and the foundation for our success. Setting the tone for the West Construction standard, our first three projects for Gulfstream were completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
Big opportunity
In 2016, the oldest law firm in Savannah, Bouhan Falligant, trusted our team to build their new office on Forsyth Park in downtown Savannah. Complicated by downtown Savannah’s working regulations, limited space, and Savannah’s first hurricane in 100 years, the significant project was delivered in only seven months, under budget and ahead of schedule. The local community and the construction industry took notice, recognizing our young company by naming the project the best in the State of Georgia by the AGC and the best in the Southeast by Engineering News-Record. A standard was set and demonstrated West Construction’s commitment to excellence.
Built with purpose
The early support of Bouhan Falligant and Gulfstream set a solid foundation for our future clients. Our projects have left an indelible mark on the history of our area, from the historic preservation at St John’s Cathedral to the most current modern technologies at SCAD, winning numerous awards for their success. We have a long list of awards; however, we are most proud of our repeat clients and referrals. Our company is built on the same values we were founded on, and we will not lose sight of who we are.
Where we are going
Thanks to the continued support of the community and the hard work of our team, we’ve become one of the most respected builders in our state. We continue to invest in the future of our industry and invest in our community partnerships. As we approach our 10-year anniversary, we will move into a new office building, continue developing our team, and build quality projects and quality people through trusting relationships, service to our clients, partners, and our community.

We build buildings and create opportunities in our community. We are investing in individuals and the future of the construction industry. Together with industry partners, more than 300 construction students from 19-area high schools come together for the Southeast Georgia AGC Skills Challenge each year. West Construction is proud to be a host contractor for this event and promote our industry as a career path.

Community projects are an integral part of our portfolio and allow us to give back to our community. This philanthropic spirit is woven into our company’s values and purpose statement, but more importantly, it’s who we are. We’re passionate about helping others, construction education, career opportunities, and education/children.
